MEET THE COMPANY
Elaine Rava earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the State University of New York at Fredonia in May of 2016. Eager to continue her studies in theatre making and directing, she moved to NYC in August of 2016 to begin a year long conservatory program with Anne Bogart’s SITI Company. Shortly after her move, she founded Shellscrape Theatre Company with fellow Fredonia alumni on Roosevelt Island. Now a permanent resident of the city, Elaine continues her work with Shellscrape and has also begun freelance directing projects.
Angela recently graduated with dual degrees in B.F.A. Acting and B.A. Arts Administration from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She currently works at the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival in Education and Outreach. Angela is also the Executive Director for Shellscrape Theatre Company - an up and coming NYC-based production company arming young professionals with artistic identity and integrity. She is a proud alumna of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting Summer Conservatory (2016) and Self-Generated Theatre Intensive (2017, John Gould Rubin).
She enjoys travelling, visiting museums, expanding her personal library, and craft beer.
Digital Marketing Director
Kevin Stevens is a NYC-based performer originating from Buffalo, NY. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia, where he earned a BFA in Acting. While at Fredonia, he was featured in multiple mainstage and student-run productions. Upon graduation, Kevin moved to New York City, signed with Avalon Artists Group and has been using theatre to travel across the country and world, performing in California, Germany, Norway, Russia and exotic Ohio. As of late, Kevin is back in the city, pounding the pavement and seeing as many drag shows as he can. Aside from theatre, Kevin plays the clarinet, an instrument he has studied for eight years, and is an aspiring gymnast.

Brian C. Staton is currently a Long Island-based designer and technician. He graduated with a B.F.A. in Theatrical Production and Design from SUNY Fredonia in May 2018. Brian currently works at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, NY as the Technical Director, and is the Technical Consultant for Shellscrape Theatre Company in NYC.

Athena Torres is an actor, writer, and aspiring filmmaker. She is a graduate of The William Esper Studio’s two-year actor training program. There she developed a love for creating truth in art that has followed her through her writing. She is currently in the process of completing her play, which is tentatively called The Backlog. The story follows a woman who must confront her trauma and move forward through life or stay trapped in the hurt of the past. She looks forward to sharing this story and many others with you in the near future.
